What is HTML

HTML stands for Hyper Text Markup Language. Most of the webpages are written with HTML. HTML lets you format text, add graphics, sound, and video, and save it all in a text only or ASCII file that any computer can read. The basic key to HTML are its keywords that are enclosed in < and > tags. For example <Img Src="mypicture.jpg"> In this quick example the command insite the <> tags tells a web browser to display a picture titled 'mypicture.jpg'
